Biography:

Lily Braff loves to paint landscape and portraiture in oil. She has studied with Chinese master, Mr. Choi Chor Foo and also with an artist and educator, Mr. Howard Rose. In 2010, she had her classic training at Grand Central Academy of art in New York city and received their scholarship for Hudson River School fellowships. Her artworks has been influenced by past master Nicolai Fechin and current masters Jove Wang and Scott Christensen. She diligently searches her heart to find out what really moves and captivates. Lily’s artwork features an expressive use of color and dancing brushstrokes to express feelings.  She has participated in numerous juried exhibitions in New York and won many awards. Her paintings have been accepted into National exhibitions, such as Oil Painters of America, American Impressionist Society and Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club. She is an elected member of Salmagundi Club in New York city. Her paintings have been purchased by private collectors.
