Blanche Hermele

Blanche Hermele received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hunter College, studied Art Historyat C.W. Post College, Greenvale L.I., attended the Arts Student's League, the Parsons School of Design, the China Institute and NY University for Japanese Fine and Decorative Arts. Studied with Paul Woods, Steven Lampasona, H.L. Kurlander, Carolyn Clark and Sung Sook Setton. She has participated in numerous exhibits and has been the recipient of many awards. Her painting is in the permanent collection at the University College of Pediatric Dentistry. She has exhibited in juried shows at the Wisser Memorial Library at the New York Institute of Technology, the Suburban Art League, the Roslyn Museum and Lincoln Center Gallery. Her paintings are in private collections in Washington, DC, Albuquerque, NM and Dallas, TX. She is a member of the National League of American Penwoman. At present, she has combined different techniques and mediums to focus on traditional Japanese culture in her work.
