Born in New Britain, CT, Eric spent the vast majority of his grade school years sketching in the margins of his homework assignments and (when no one was looking) on his desk. He graduated with a BFA in illustration from the Hartford Art School in 2002 and completed his MA in religious studies from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT in 2007. For over a decade, Eric worked as a freelance archaeological illustrator for several excavations in the Middle East, and his work has been published in several books and articles.
Eric's most recent work attempts to convey the essence of profound singular moments in time, and is inspired by his love for aviation, history, music, literature, and nature. Eric is currently the Senior Conservation Assistant at the Yale Center for British Art, and resides in Southington, CT with his wife Heather.
