Liza A. Amir

Liza Gladstein Amir was born in New Jersey in 1982. She began her formal studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art where she received her BFA in 2004. She continued her studies at the Art Students League of New York, and the International School of Drawing and Painting in Umbria, Italy, and finally the NYK Academy at the Harlem Studio of Art, where, under the direction of Judith Pond Kudlow, she received her Certificate in Classical Drawing in 2011 and Painting Diploma in 2012. Her work has been shown in Anderson Fine Art Gallery in St. Simonís Island, GA, Beverly McNeil Gallery in Birmingham AL, and Principle Gallery in Alexandria, VA. Portrait commissions include Montefiore Hospital, the New Jersey Superior Court, Rutgers University, and Iowa State University. Liza resides in Caldwell, NJ with her husband and son.
