Mary Ann MaryAnn-HeinzenHackett

Originally from Long Island, I am a full time, Hudson valley artist working primarily in watercolor. I had the opportunity to study with a number of wonderful artists including Ed Whitney, Mario Cooper, Joseph Rossi, Gregory D'Alessio and my first watercolor instructor, Yukio Tashiro. I give demonstrations and teach workshops at a variety of art associations, including the National Art League in Douglaston, NY and the Rock Hall Museum in Lawrence, Long Island. I have been honored to receive awards from the Salmagundi Club, Northeast Watercolor Society , National Art League, National Association of Women Artists, and the Long Island Museum, among others. I bring my watercolors whenever traveling. In addition to the Adirondacks, Vermont, and Maine, I've enjoyed painting in France, Italy, Spain and last Christmas in New Zealand.
