Ranoosh Barclay

Ranoosh Barclay has been painting from the age of 16, having begun her studies under a private teacher. She then continued her training at the Phoenix School and the National Academy and Art Student's League, in the United States. She received 1st prize for her work in Phoenix. She also received 1st prize from the Art Student's League. Her work there was exhibited in Canada, under the auspices of the London Museum. Ranoosh won first prize in both the 40th and 41st Annual Artists Ball, A.S.A. While still a student, Ranoosh was commissioned to paint the portrait of the wife of Wallace Harrison (Designer/Architect of Lincoln Center, Rockefeller Center and the United Nations). She has also painted portraits of several prominent Europeans. She has her work in private collections in both the United States and Europe. Ranoosh has shown in the following galleries: Adelaide Fine Art,New Canaan,CT, Cavalier,Stamford,CT, Schillay & Rehs Fine Art,NYC, Magidson Fine Art,NYC, Heidi Neuhoff Gallery.
