William E. Snow

Bill is a realist painter focusing on landscapes and cityscapes, with a strong emphasis on architecture. His work explores the role of light in the perception of depth and atmosphere. His images come from travel as well as the coastal areas of Delaware. He works primarily in watercolor and oil.

Bill spent his childhood in Mexico where studied under Jaime Oates, a Spanish watercolorist. He has since studied art at the George Washington University and the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC as well as at the Maryland Institute and College of Art in Baltimore.

In the Rehoboth Art League's Annual Members' Fine Art Exhibition, he has won awards for Best in Show, Painting of Exceptional Merit and Outstanding Work.He is a Signature Artist member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society. His works are held in corporate and private collections. He is represented by the Peninsula Gallery in Lewes, DE.
