Jerald Peterson

After a twenty-five year career serving a Central Intelligence Agency operations officer in Washington D.C. North Africa, Latin America, and Europe, Peterson retired in 1990 to pursue a second career as an artist. His work can be found in the homes of diplomats, businessmen, journalists, spys and art lovers around the world. A self-taught watercolor and oil painter, Peterson's representational style and earthy palette are distinctively his own. Whether painting an Oklahoma farm, Colonial Mexico, or a French countryside or cityscape, Peterson draws on his unique experience to share with others the rustic beauty he finds in the humble, time-worn, and hand-hewn. Jerald Peterson is a nationally known artist. He is a frequent award winner at fine art exhibits and outdoor fine art festivals from coast to coast. Jerald is member of the Southwest Watercolor Society. Jerald and Molly travel to and have lived in Mexico. The Petersons now live in Oklahoma in their rather unique barn.
