Liz Haywood-Sullivan, PSA, IAPS/MC, is a traditional representational artist specializing in pastel landscapes. After graduating in 1978 from Rochester Institute of Technology she worked as an industrial designer, museum exhibit designer, illustrator and architectural renderer. She spent 11 years serving the high tech industry at Haywood + Sullivan, Inc. a graphic design business she ran with her husband, Michael. In 1996 she left the design world for fine art and since then has worked as a professional artist, art educator, and arts advocate. Liz is the President of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS) and serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Pastel Journal. She holds Signature Memberships in the Pastel Society of America, the Connecticut Pastel Society, and the Pastel Painter's Society of Cape Cod. She has also earned membership in the Academic Artists Association, the Salmagundi Club of New York City, and IAPS Master's Circle.
