Madeline Lovallo is "an artist who honed her skills among the winding roads and quaint villages in France." (Queens Chronicle, 1998) Madeline studied for two years at the American Academy of Paris, and attended various other artistic academies from 1973 to 1998, including the Brooklyn Museum of Art School and the Art Students League in Manhattan. Her work has been featured in many prestigious galleries, including the Royale Galleries in New York City, the Tumblety Howell Art Gallery in Ocean Grove, New Jersey, the Woodhaven Galleries in Queens, and the Ocean Gallery in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
I paint scenes from life that are comprised of bits and pieces of things that I see in my daily life. I can see one corner of a garden and then a single flower, and then combine them with other things to make an idealized still lives, garden scenes, and unique children's paintings.
