Susan G. Hammond
Susan G. Hammond lives and has her studio in Mansfield, NJ. Susan retired in 2009 from the Department of Defense (U. S. Army) as a Technical Equipment Illustrator, to pursue her passion for photography. Susan exhibits mostly black and white photography that involves metaphors and the darker side of life. She has been in numerous Salmagundi exhibits, as well as in shows throughout the U.S. She is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Art, Lakewood, TX and numerous private collections. She earned her MFA IN 2005 from William Paterson University in NJ. In 2009, she was elected the President of the National Association of Women Artists, Inc. and in 2010 became their Executive Director.
