American Masters returns to New York’s legendary Salmagundi Club this October with a special exhibition and sale commemorating its 10th anniversary. American Masters 2018 features nearly 70 of today’s finest realist artists, offering collectors and connoisseurs the opportunity to view and purchase a wide range of skillfully created paintings, drawings, etchings, woodblocks, and sculpture. Categories include still life, landscape, maritime, figurative, Western, and wildlife genres.

Special features this year include an awards ceremony and tribute to eight Living Legends who have been an integral part of American Masters through the years — Richard Schmid, Douglas Allen, Max Ginsburg, Daniel E. Greene, Everett Raymond Kinstler, David A. Leffel, Burton Silverman, and John Stobart — as well as a VIP preview reception, collector events hosted by American Masters founder and curator Tim Newton, a small-works exhibition, Best of Show awards, and more. All artwork will be available for purchase, and net proceeds benefit the restoration and preservation of Salmagundi’s historic 1853 brownstone on Fifth Avenue.
