Patrons and artists alike are invited to join the opening reception for our exhibition Abstracted : Lumen Winter. Marvel at rarely seen artworks by historic Salmagundi member Lumen Winter (1908-1982). Refreshments such as soft drinks and platters will be provided for your enjoyment. If desired, Salmagundi’s Wiggins bar will be open on the lower level for purchase of wine and beer (card only, no cash).

After the reception, join us for a talk by Long Island Museum senior curator Joshua Ruff; revisiting the life and art of Lumen Winter. Tickets for the reception and talk must be reserved separately.
