Following their recent appearance at the end of May, internationally acclaimed pianist Dominic Ferris and singer/actor Robert Levey will return to the Coffee House on July 20th. Dominic and Robert will be exploring music from some of the world’s most iconic piano showmen as well as popular songs from the British and American songbooks.
About the Musicians
Dominic Ferris is one of the UK’s leading pianists and global ambassador to the flagship piano brand Steinway & Sons. He recently worked with Dame Shirley Bassey on her album, I Owe It All To You and has produced and performed on eight UK top ten albums since 2015. Recent recording collaborations include Brian Wilson, Alfie Boe, Jonathan Antoine and the symphonic albums of Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison and The Beach Boys with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, recorded at Abbey Road Studios, selling over 3 million albums worldwide.
Dominic is also one half of musical theatre double act Ferris & Milnes. The duo have become known for their mashup medleys including 33 Sondheim Numbers in 5 Minutes, which they debuted at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in Stephen Sondheim’s 85th Birthday Gala. They also premiered 30 Gershwin Numbers In 6 Minutes at the Rose Theater for the Mabel Mercer Foundation Cabaret Convention in New York.
Dominic has been coaching Robert Levey since 2020. Robert began working in the entertainment industry at age 4 and has gone on to appear in feature films and commercials across the US. He has fast become a YouTube success after releasing cover versions of Billy Joel, Frank Sinatra and Lewis Capaldi hits. Robert’s debut feature length movie One Up was released last week and he has recently been nominated for best under 18 vocalist by the Josie Music Awards in Nashville.
