Please join us for a fascinating talk with artist Jeremy Caniglia who will be previewing the art of Odd Nerdrum and his influences.

In this lecture, artist Jeremy Caniglia discuses several fascinating topics for realist narrative painters working in the field today. The topics include the different approaches used at the Nerdrum School – such as the Apelles Palette, toning of the canvas, imprimatura, color layering, sanding, and glazing – different approaches to build a strong composition, and a discussion of masterworks from Odd Nerdrum’s canon.

For those who can’t make it, this event will be recorded and posted on Salmagundi’s Youtube channel for viewing.
