About the Event

This panel of award-winning memoir and non-fiction authors (including top editors, agents, and contributors to The Atlantic, The New York Times, Slate, Smithsonian, This American Life, Vice and more) will discuss everything from pitching stories to turning your commentary or feature into a book. We’ll hear insider tips, learn about the ups and downs in turbulent times for media, and take your questions. The evening begins with a bar reception, includes book signing and sales, and concludes with more bar talk.

Moderated by Jessica Seigel, adjunct professor at the New York University Journalism Institute and former national correspondent for the Chicago Tribune.
