About the Musician
The jazz pianist Vadim Neselovskyi was born in 1977 in the port city of Odessa in Ukraine. Like all Ukrainian artists, he is shocked by the events in his country. In 2020, under very different circumstances at the time, he recorded the album “Odessa” – a homage to his home city. On the release of the CD, he said at the time: “I come from Odessa. I was born and grew up in this enchanting harbour city on the Black Sea. In Western Europe and also in the USA, almost everyone has heard of Odessa and yet very few people really know anything about the city. Some associate its name with Sergei Eisenstein’s film Battleship Potemkin, others know it as the birthplace of violinist Dawid Oistrakh. Many remember Odessa as a very important centre of Jewish life at the beginning of the 20th century.”

CD’s will be available for purchase, if desired.
