Details for the 2nd Annual Art Materials Fair.

About the Event

The Salmagundi Club is proud to be hosting our second ever Annual art materials fair, aimed at bringing the best makers of fine art materials within the walls of its prestigious brownstone home. Specialty vendors of the finest quality paints, papers, brushes, equipment, supports, frames and resources for artists will be at the club sharing valuable information on best practices, archival materials, new products, and offering products for sale.

Our Skylight Gallery, the largest of the club, will host prominent names in the art industry, while all day in the parlor, there will be demonstrations by participating vendors.

The club’s sumptuous parlor will host demonstrations by artists and presentations on materials throughout the two-day event to educate on the use of these fine materials. Artists and curious art lovers will have the chance to learn about the importance of using quality materials, find new favorites, and get some free samples from some of the best art materials makers in the business.

With festivities approaching, coupled with sales and special offers, this event is also the perfect occasion for everyone (both artists and non-artists alike) to witness and learn how art is actually crafted and indulge in a thoughtful gift for a beloved one they would like to show thanks.
