About this series of lessons
Are you looking for a new activity this Fall that is an enjoyable combination of mental
stimulation and socializing – with a little luck added in? We are pleased to offer a 6 session series of beginner bridge lessons.
Participants will learn the basic elements of bridge, including how to play and bid simple hands of bridge, as well as understand the vocabulary and mechanics of the game. At the end of this 6 week course, you will have a great feel for just how fascinating the game of bridge can be and why you will want to make this a game you can enjoy for a lifetime.
The class is limited to 14 students and we expect full enrollment, so please sign up as soon as possible.
What is included?
In addition to the 6 two-hour lessons, during the course participants will receive a complimentary subscription to the website Bestebridge, where you can get additional lessons and practice hands. You will also receive a great introductory book “A Taste of Bridge” which further explains the game.
About the instructor
Barbara Bayone, one of the co-owners of Honors Bridge Club in NYC. Barbara has
been teaching bridge for over 15 years and specializes in teaching beginners. She has earned the reputation of being one of the kindest and most patient teachers around, while offering lessons in a clear, concise and fun way.
