About the Event
Milène J. Fernández will share her insights and reflections after seeing this year’s sold-out VERMEER exhibition at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In 2016 Milène interviewed Dr. Jorgen Wadum, the conservator who cleaned and restored the iconic painting by the 17th century Dutch painter, Johannes Vermeer, Girl with a Pearl Earring for an article that was published in The Epoch Times, The Man Who Knows the ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’ Most Intimately: Insights of conservator Jorgen Wadum. Part of Milène’s presentation will touch on how that interview informed her insights about the VERMEER exhibition. The presentation will be followed by a Q & A.
