Our palette collection
The Salmagundi Club owns the largest collection of late 19th and early 20th century American palettes in the United States. Attendees may view part of this collection by going to the Wiggins bar in the lower level. Throughout history, the club has had a long involvement with artist colormen and artist suppliers, including early club members such as Joseph Grumbacher, Michel Engel, and Arthur C. Friedrichs of Fredix Canvas.
Hungry?
Salmagundi Collectors’ Circle and Salmagundi members who would love to cap the night off with dinner may make a reservation via our Reservations page and include the message “Collectors Circle dinner”.
There is a prix-fixe dinner with a chicken / pasta entree and wine available.
Not your fancy? There is also an a la carte menu to choose from. Pay for your meal in-person with a card or your membership account (no cash).
