About Mahjong Club
Calling all mahjong mavens; join us for mahjong at Salmagundi!
We are offering morning mahjong games for interested members and friends every Thursday. Meet new people, improve your memory skills, and escape 21st century worries while enjoying this 18th century game.
If you’re interested, please reserve your spot by emailing Barbara Brown at brown11024@aol.com. RSVP is required, so the necessary amount of game sets and tables can be prepared.
For Mahjong Classes (separate)
Prior to the conception of the Mahjong club, lessons were available at Salmagundi for a short limited time. If you are interested in lessons, but missed the previous beginner classes, please contact our mahjong instructor, Julie Azous, directly at julieazous@gmail.com or (917) 757-1558.
Julie lives in the neighborhood and has over 25 years experience teaching at NYC organizations such as the 92 St Y, as well as private clubs, such as the Cosmopolitan Club.
