Description of work:
Two paired allegorical figures representing Knowledge (left door, with scrolls of paper) and Truth (right door, with lantern/light). Dressed in white, the figures are wearing accent colors matching Salmagundi’s logo colors of blue and gold. The areas of the painting in dark brown ( around the curved edges at top and bottom) are intended to blend into the door behind.
