About the Event

Walk through the Golden Age of Disney animation through the perspective of the animators. Meet young Walt Disney and his star animator, Art Babbitt, who was responsible for elevating Disney animation far beyond Walt’s dreams. See how Walt and Babbitt came to blows over labor rights, and how Babbitt’s activism nearly broke the studio, causing his name to be erased from Disney history for 80 years.

Join Coffee House Club for a fascinating talk from author Jake S. Friedman on The Disney Revolt. Books will be available or sale and signing. Dinner to follow downstairs.
