Biography:
Elizabeth Spencer has been painting and exhibiting for over 20 years. Her education was primarily at Carnegie Mellon University, Parsons School of Design, and The Art Student’s League.
Ms. Spencer is a Life Member of the Art Students League and has studied with Max Ginsburg, Daniel Greene, Richard Pionk, Nelson Shanks, Mary Beth McKenzie, Peter Cox, Frank Arcuri and other notable artists.
She enjoys working in a wide range of traditional and experimental fine art techniques and mediums.
From 2019 – 2020, Ms Spencer served as First Vice President, Chairman of the Jury of Awards, and on the Art Committee of the Salmagundi Club where she was an elected Resident Artist Member.
She teaches painting at the Salmagundi Club and also teaches in her landmark Union Square Studio where she is a full time artist.
