 Biography:

Georgette Sinclair is a doctor of Audiology, currently living in New York City. She is an award winning artist inspired by the eternal beauty of nature, working mostly in pastels. She has been a member of the Salmagundi Club since 2001, where she served 4 years as the 3rd vice president, and is an active member of the Art Committee. She is also a member of the Roosevelt Island Visual Art Association of NY (RIVAA) since 2001 and Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club NY since 2013 and an elected member of Allied Artists of America, Associate member of PSA NY.

Ms. Sinclair works mostly in pastels and oils and is fascinated by the beauty of nature. She finds poetry in ordinary scenes and her landscapes express a mood and speak to everyone by freezing a moment before it is gone forever. In her vision, expression of mood is the response to a fragment in time. She delights in painting outdoors but is also fascinated by peeking in and out of the windows which are the subject of some of her paintings. She travels extensively and her trips, a great source of inspiration, have a big impact on her work.
