Biography:

Born and raised in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, Max Cartagena has written and recorded music, worked in Hollywood independent films both in front of and behind the camera, modeled, and designed websites, which evolved into his unique brand of digitally-generated artwork from his original photographs.

His award-winning art has been displayed in galleries, the Salmagundi Club, libraries and juried art festivals in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. He recently won a Bergen County, NJ-wide awards for digital photography in 2019 and 2020.
