Biography:

Peggy Davidson Post is an artist who lived and studied in California until after college and work in commercial illustration. She spent the next 40 years in New York State where she taught, administered, created art, and exhibited. She earned her artist membership at the Salmagundi Art Club in New York City where she frequently exhibits her work. Other distinctions include signature membership in the Pastel Society of America, Pastel Society of Connecticut, American Artists Professional League, and recently the Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters Association. She is an elected member of the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club in NYC, and also a member of the board of directors. Participating in shows in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, California, Washington, New Mexico, Arizona and Canada have brought new relationships and rewards.

​Inspiration springs from moments of engagement, when a landscape, a person or an animal catches her attention and tells a memorable story. Seascape and landscape are her strongest interests and abiding passion.
