Details about the 2024 Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club exhibition.

The Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club has provided support for women artists for over 127 years. The Club was founded by prominent American philanthropist Catharine Lorillard Wolfe who was the only woman among 106 founding members of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Catharine’s first endowment to the MET and her collection formed the basis of the Museum’s European Painting collection. Her mission was to give aid and counsel to women artists. Our Benefit Reception honors her legacy.

Their 127th Anniversary Open Juried Exhibition showcases incredible 2D and 3D work from116 women artists from all across the US and Canada. They have also added a separate small works show, providing another opportunity for women artists to showcase their exceptional smaller pieces in 2D and 3D. This year we have 40 pieces in the small works show.
