A white boat sails forward on the waters under a blue sky, with the NYC skyline on the horizon.

The “eagle” is the national emblem of the United States and the flagship of the United States Coast Guard. It is the name of our tallest sailing ship, inspiring artists and all others to fly high, free, and independently.

In the spirit of the “eagle,” which makes calls at foreign ports as a goodwill ambassador, this photography exhibition showcases nautical/maritime imagery taken on diverse oceans, rivers, bays, and eddies–places where the sea meets the land and the diverse people of our planet are inextricably connected, using varied types of vessels for trade, commerce, warfare, and enjoyment.
