About the Event

Noah Buchanan – esteemed realist artist, Salmagundian, and creator of the prize-winning doors of the Club’s Smith Library – reflects on the evolving role of light and shadow in his paintings over the past decade.

Buchanan will share insight about the progression of his artistic practice. See how he has dealt with shadow and light, how his methods have evolved, and how they have been guided by the psychological influence of Jungian themes.
