About the Event
For this coming Coffee House luncheon, please join us for Anthony Bellov’s very special and in-depth talk about the building and its history.
Before 47 Fifth Ave became the Salmagundi Club, it had been a residence, built in 1853. The original house can still be found if you look carefully. Architectural sleuth Anthony Bellov will show you slides of the living quarters on the 3rd and 4th floors, disclosing this clubhouse’s surprises.
