About the Event
Join us for a special edition of Salmagundi’s oldest tradition: drawing with artists and friends! This is our special Botticelli themed figure drawing/painting session in honor of the artist’s 480th birthday!
A nude model will pose in a manner reminiscent of Simonetta Vespucci (the famous renaissance muse). This will be a single pose session allowing artists to use long format media such as oils or watercolors. The lighting will be set up to mimic Botticelli’s Birth of Venus composition.
Artists must bring their own drawing materials. A few easels will be available, on a first come first serve basis.
Want more drinks? More will be available for purchase at our bar until 10:00 PM. Enjoy a buzz while doing what you love, and good company.
