About the Event
The Photo Workshop Group holds monthly meetings on the last Friday of each month. It is open to all club members who are interested in photography. We will meet at the bar and set up in the Rockwell gallery. The goal of this group is to encourage conversation, exchange of ideas, and hands-on experimentation in areas of interest to photographers.
This month we will be exploring portrait photography. Philip Maier is planning a short talk on some of the techniques and types of portrait photography that are popular in this field. We will discuss some traditional approaches to portraits, and outdoor and indoor techniques. A flash and soft box will be available to experiment with.
