About the Event
Before the Salmagundi Club takes the month of August off, we are celebrating with the Seersucker Ball! That’s right, we’re throwing a huge lindy hop dance party this evening. Put on your dancing shoes (and something seersucker) and join us for live traditional jazz music from the Small Dog Jazz Society!
Has it been a long time since you danced the Lindy Hop? No problem! An intro to Lindy Hop dance lesson will be taught by Seth Harris with assistance from members of his award winning dance troupe The Findyhoppers. Don’t have a dance partner? No need! You’ll find many at the Ball. Don’t have any seersucker clothing? Well, you can still come but it would be more fun if you found some!
Ticketholders are welcome to purchase libations downstairs in the Wiggins bar. Please bring a credit card as cash is not accepted.
