About the Event
Harkening back to the Salmagundi Club’s earlier days as the New York Sketch Club, we host a monthly drawing and painting session on the 4th Tuesday of every month! This month, our session will be returning with an Egyptian pharaoh theme, with model Gio.
Each session features a clothed model holding a single pose for the evening, offering artists the perfect opportunity to dive into their work with creative flexibility. Artists have the option of capturing the full figure, focusing on portrait studies, exploring different angles, or committing to a more intensive complete piece. What will you create? We’re excited to see!
Artists must bring their own painting/drawing materials. A few easels will be available, first-come first-serve.
Have any questions? This event is organized by Salmagundi artist member John Derenzo.
Hungry?
Ticketed attendees may reserve for dinner in the dining room (a normally member-exclusive benefit) via our Reservations page with the message “Art Session dinner”. Reservations must be made in advance after RSVP-ing.
