Generative AI, as we saw, can create an abstract photograph based upon a prompt provided by the user. A similar type of image may be created by using the basic tools that are already available in cameras. For this month’s Photo Group Workshop, we will go outdoors and experiment with creating such an image by manipulating controls such as white balance, shutter speed, aperture, and camera movement to see just how abstract or different an image we can create by using these available tools. We can take photos during the meeting and time permitting, present later that night and/or at the following meeting.

The Photo Workshop Group holds monthly meetings on the last Friday of each month. It is open to all club members who are interested in photography. Our goal is to encourage conversation, exchange of ideas, and hands-on experimentation in areas of interest to photographers.
