Join us for refreshments and mingling amongst a display of fine art from talented artists. See the award winners!
Soft drinks and platters will be provided for your enjoyment. If desired, Salmagundi’s Wiggins bar will be open on the lower level for purchase of wine and beer (card only, no cash). ID for age 21 and over will be required.

SCNY 149th Annual black & white | Rockwell gallery
The first Annual black & white exhibition at the Salmagundi Club took place in 1878, only a few short years after the Club was formed. As the public’s interest in illustration grew, these exhibitions provided artwork for a variety of purposes, and many of the works initially shown in these shows went on to be published in the burgeoning magazine market of the late 19th century. The black and white exhibition has taken place yearly since then.
