Description:

Beginning October 17, 2022 and continuing to November 19, 2022, Salmagundi presents Bump in the night : Halloween themed works from the collection.  It is part of a series of concurrent exhibitions including Haunting portraits and Ghost image that are being shown at the historic townhouse at 47 Fifth Avenue.

There are few who love costumes and Halloween as much as artists.  At Salmagundi it has been a long running tradition for Halloween costume parties.  The collection has posters, invitations and more that are spooky themed.

The front part of our formal parlor gallery features prints and original drawings from our earliest artists until today.  The Gothic-style etchings echo well loved Victorian illustrated books.
