Christine is an oil painter based in Maryland. She is currently represented by the VOV Gallery and the Visitation Hotel/Wye Oak Tavern in Frederick, MD, and was represented at the District Arts Gallery before they closed in 2024. She has exhibited her work widely in juried competitions and group shows, won awards, and has had two solo exhibitions.

Christine is a graduate of the Master Artist’s Program at The Compass Atelier near Washington, D.C., and has studied with Steven Assael, Alyssa Monks, Gavin Glakas, Ricky Mujica, Claudia Rilling, Danni Dawson, Walt Bartman, and others, all of whom taught her valuable skills that she continually uses in her practice. She teaches painting and drawing classes at the Delaplaine in Frederick, MD, and formerly taught at the Arts of Great Falls in Virginia. Although Christine has painted her whole life, prior to painting full time she worked as a graphic designer for many years, and also as a copy writer and editor, children’s book illustrator, and author. Christine graduated from Colby College with a B.A. in English and from San Francisco State University with an M.A. in Design.
