Biography:
Debbie Wells joined the Salmagundi Club in 2014 as an Artist Member. Her photographs have been on exhibit at Salmagundi, including the Historic Black and White Exhibition. Wells is the co-founder of Artful Circle with Franklin Hill Perrell, former Chief Curator of the Nassau County Museum of Art. Artful Circle offers specialized tours of art galleries and museums, as well as lectures on all art topics. Artful Circle also provides curatorial and artist promotional services. Wells has a B.F.A. in Communications Design, ’83 and an M.A. in Media Studies, ’90 from Parsons New School of Design. Beginning in September 2014, Debbie serves as Chair on the Board of Trustees of the Art League of Long Island in Dix Hills.
