Biography:

Eric Leichtung (b. 1995) is a painter from Queens, New York who works in a classical style. From a young age, he would voraciously draw and was introduced to painting in high school. He attended Rhode Island School of Design where he received a BFA in Illustration, and has recently started study at the Grand Central Atelier. He is a 2021 recipient of the Hudson River Fellowship. He has exhibited work in Rhode Island and New York, and his work is included in numerous private collections across the United States.
