The Art Committee has passed this candidate for associate artist membership. He was born in Austria, year ’96 and became a citizen of the U. S. A. His American education includes The National Academy of Design, and Art Students League. Membership in the American Society of Etchers, American Water Color Society, Chicago Society of Etchers, Audubon Society has been recorded. He is a teacher and lecturer on art. Portrait Commissions include Wendell Willkie and President F. D. Roosevelt. His pictures hang in many important places such as the Smithsonian Museum, Library of Congress and Metropolitan Museum. Mr. Margulies is known to many of our leading members.
