Biography:
Milène J. Fernández (milenejf.com) is an arts writer, editor, and ‘Sunday painter’. She grew up bilingual in Chile and the United States. As an adult she lived in London and in Vienna, Austria for many years. Eventually she found herself back in the New York metropolitan area, where she honed her skills as a writer and currently also as a painter. Her profile articles on accomplished artists and reviews on exhibitions at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Frick Collection, The Morgan Library & Museum, various galleries, and on works for sale at Christie’s and Sotheby’s are published in The Epoch Times. She has also contributed to Canvas (New Masters Academy’s online magazine), Fine Art Connoisseur, among other publications. Milène shares her personal insights about art in her blog at milenejf.com, she edits for various clients, continues learning how to draw and paint, and is in the long process of writing her first book.
Milène is a patron member, serving as the Second Vice President on the Board of Salmagundi.
