Biography:

Mitsu Walters began painting as a child by studying with her father, Nobuhiro Ishikawa, a recognized master artist in Japan. She works entirely in oils and focuses exclusively on realism. The old masters, especially Rubens and van Ruisdael, have greatly influenced her; she has carefully studied their methods and painted replicas of their works as well as her own original art. Her works have been exhibited at various places in New York City, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
