I am a student of Maestra Signorina Nerina Simi. I studied figure drawing with her for four years from 1980-1984 in the studio in Florence, Italy. Nerina Simi was the daughter of Filadelfo Simi who studied in Paris under Jean Leon Gerome. Filadelfo Simi founded a school in Florence, Italy to teach drawing and painting and upon his death in 1923 Nerina Simi took over the school continuing his teaching methods until 1987.
