L I N E A G E
I first met Everett Raymond Kinstler in 2000 while he was demonstrating at the Copley Society in Boston. I showed him some of the work I had done while living in Florence Italy, we immediately connected and he invited me to his studio in Gramercy Park. We became the closest of friends until his passing in 2019. I spent many years studying with Ray, spending time in his studio and at his home in Connecticut. I assisted for his workshops at the Art Students League and the National Academy, and was introduced to the Salmagundi Club through him.
I have been teaching in higher ed, running programs, schools and academies here in the states and abroad for 20 years. I am currently the Executive Director and Head Instructor of Factor Fine Art where I teach painting, drawing, anatomy, illustration, design, photography, art history, sculpture, contemporary critical discourse, etc.
