Patrick Okrasinski is a graduate of the Florence Academy of Art US. He enrolled in the program after an impactful workshop under Stapleton Kearns, a New England Landscape painter who studied under Ives Gammel, an important figure in the Boston School. At the Florence Academy US, his instructors were Jordan Sokol, Amaya Gurpide, Edmond Rochat, Stephen Bauman, and Cornelia Hernes. Sokol, Bauman, and Hernes trace their education through the main branch of the Florence Academy, back through Daniel Graves to Nerini Simi and Richard Lack (who in turn also studied with Gammel). Through Gurpide and Rochat, he was exposed to the New York Realism that has had a revival in recent decades, tying back to National Academy of Design and the former Water Street Atelier. Whilst a student, he studied under landscape painter Marc Dalessio. This, no doubt, is a multifaceted education tying back to several artistic school and lineages
