Biography:

Painting, for me, is an intensely sensory experience. The smell of the spike lavender and linseed, the unction and luxuriousness of the oils, the vibration of brush to canvas, and, of course, the sight of the explosion of colors with all of their potential. Mixing and blending and considering all of these possibilities brings me endless joy.  Using these wonderful pigments to visually describe the specialness of our ordinary world is truly a privilege.

Sarah paints in both her home studio and her public studio in Spencerport, NY.

She is a juried member of Oil Painters of America, American Women Artists, Salmagundi Club, and her local Chili Art Group.

Sarah is a 1993 Graduate of Syracuse University, College of Visual and Performing Arts
