Description:

NEW YORK, New York (September 12, 2022)–Beginning September 1 until December 31 of 2022, Salmagundi will present Haunting portraits, forty-three works of portraiture from the permanent art collection.  Inspired by Disney’s Haunted Mansion ride and upcoming movie, the non-presidential portraits have dark backgrounds and haunting people.  The pieces are haunting for their memorable beauty and sometimes creepy depictions of past people and children.  A majority of the works are oil on canvas and climb up the stairs of our townhouse first to second floor in our 1 to 2 gallery.
